Christmas 2007 Disney Album

I have been working most of the summer doing this Disney album.  I have pictures from 2007 Christmas with my family--mom, dad, sisters, husbands, nieces and nephews as well as my son and daughter when we celebrated Christmas at Disney.  It was a blast!! I have made a couple of mini albums but this one was the one I couldn't wait to make!!  There is a great tutorial from my sisters' scrapper and it is called a vertical TP mini album. She uses paper bags  to make the pages.  There are about 4 or 5 parts to it but she explains it beautifully!  Check it out!  I used paper that I purchased at a convention this spring that was designed with Disney in mind and added Graphic 45 and Bo Bunny paper.  A new thing of mine which I do with my sisters are chunky charms and you can put these on the side of the album.  Getting into the jewelry making a little bit--a lot of fun to do!!  Check out my pictures below for the inside of the album.
Inside the cover!
Lots of places for pictures!
Hi Donald!
Places to put tags and small booklets with pictures!
Opens up with more and more pictures!
Love the waterfall feature in the back of the book!
Great place for themed pictures!
My chunky charm on the side of the book!
One last thing to point out where you see Mickey's ears at the top of the pages is actually a big tag to put more pictures.  Just pull the ears and a tag comes out!  So clever!!  There are so many places for pictures --it is a great idea especially to give as a gift!  Had a lot of fun making this and can't wait to get started on another one!  Making a smaller mini album for my son for his upcoming 30th birthday!  Thanks for looking!!

Birthday Tags

Happy Birthday Lauren!
Happy Birthday Lindsey!
I decided to make birthday tags for my son's girlfriend, Lauren and for my daughter, Lindsey.  I used the same Julie Nutting's doll stamp for them. There is more bling on Lauren's tag and more embellishments on Lindsey's tag.  I used Bo Bunny paper, nestabilities, Dee's Distinctively, MS punch, sizzix, copic markers and SU punches.  It is hard to see but I made a chunky charm on Lauren's tag.  This was a fun way to end the summer creating to cards for 2 very lovely girls! Happy Birthday Lauren and Lindsey!!!

Fall Burlap Wreath

Front door
I am ready for fall!  I have been trying to find some time to make this wreath since the beginning of summer and wanted to make it a summer wreath with shells (bought a bunch at a gift shop) but just didn't have the time.  So this past weekend, it was raining on Labor Day so I began making it and ran out of burlap. Off to Michael's so that I could  finish it.  I used a 12 inch wire ring, and 2 rolls of burlap. On the back of the wreath, you can see that I secured it with tan pipe cleaners.  Some of the blogs I read used floral wire but I wanted it to blend in with the burlap.  I am not a fan of orange so I decorated the wreath yesterday with a gold, glittery bow(which I made myself), leaves from Michaels, and bittersweet from AC Moore. I kept the colors red and yellow with a touch of orange. The only instructions are to make loops through the wire wreath and I secured about every 3 loops with the pipe cleaners.  You can make it as full or loose as you want. The leaves can be hot glued but I secured the leaves with pins so that I can use the wreath again at Christmas time if I want. I really did like the way it came out.  It took me about 2 hours to make it altogether.  Check below for more close up pictures.  I have found so many great ideas off pinterest.  I don't know what I would do without it now.
