September Anniversary

Just  a quick post to show the card I made for my sister and her husband. They celebrated their 9th Anniversary last week.  I have seen many Wedding and Anniversary cards on Pinterest and Splitcoast that are all white and are simply gorgeous!  Almost did a card that was all white but used DP cardstock for the background.  There are a lot of die cuts used in this card from Spellbinders and Memory Box.  The flowers are from Michael's $1 bin.  Some embossing was done too!!     Happy Anniversary to you both!

Birthday Dress!

Here is a birthday card for a coworker.  She is a girly girl and I hadn't used my new SU framelits so here it is!  I used the embossing folder for the rug.  If I had more time I would have put a punch art lipstick and perfume on the table behind the table.  The pocketbook is Brenda Walton K & Co sticker.  I have a few of her 3D stickers and they are perfect!  The front of the card picture is below but first a little closer look at the dress!!

Love the mirror!
Added a paper doily to make it a little more feminine on the front of the card and sponged a little Distressed Ink Wild Honey on the edges.   The white flowers from Michael's $1 bin and the blue one is Petaloo.  I gave her a cupcake and made a little cupcake throne for it.  Check out below.

It is hard to see but I used SU "wish big" stamp for the front sentiment and their tiny banner punch with my coworker's name.  This was fun to make and it only used 1/2 sheet of a 12x12 sheet of cardstock.  Another coworker gave her some flowers which I had to post also because they were soooooo pretty just like her!!!  The colors are amazing!!  Thanks for stopping by!

Gorgeous colors!

Birthday Camper!

Here is a 40th birthday, card in a box card for my boss' wife!!  They are staying in their camper while they are building a new home.  He tells me it is getting a little cold in the mornings but they are going to try and stay through October!  Brrrrr!!!!   I got the idea from a camper on pinterest but did change it up a little.  There were no instructions so I went by sight.  The camper is a large nestability oval, cut straight across at the bottom.  Just added the tire and a button for the hubcap.  The window is a rectangle with vellum and used SU's tab punch for the awning.  I did score the camper for texture. The fire are SU punches also.  Love the little frog which is a sticker from Michael's.

Here is a closer look at the camper.  I added a little banner with Sarah's initials on it.  The paper is Graphic 45 Sweet Sentiments and Mother Goose line.  Add some twine for the bow.

I put the card in this way so that when she took it out she would see the sentiment and the little chicken because they raise their own.  Adorable little chicken using the owl punch  and bird punch from SU.     Of note, I got a text last night from my boss saying that Sarah loved the card!  Been busy in my craftroom this summer and still  have a few more cards to make.  Thanks for stopping by!

Tallest Wish for Lindsey!

Today is my daughter's 27th birthday!  She is very tall at 6 feet and has started to collect giraffes!  Love these punch art giraffes I have seen on splitcoast and pinterest.  She will definitely get a kick out of this card.  The punches are from SU.  I used large and small oval, circles,  and the bird builder leaves/stem punches.  Added some bling from Michaels that was in the $1 bin.  What a deal!!

Love the sentiment which I found in the internet somewhere.  "Our biggest or tallest birthday wish for you is that you should stay the way you are! Don't ever change!  A daughter like you is a gift from God!"    Mark and I started her collection of giraffes.

This is a pull-toy that I found at a "junkin" place that I regularly go to in Wells, Maine.  Below is another giraffe that we found at a place in Oxford Maine.  Between the 2 of them I only spent $15.00.  I didn't think that was too bad.

Happy Birthday Lindsey!  We love you so much!!
