Cupcake for 90th Birthday

Here is a tent card for a 90th birthday!  Mrs. Verrill was a very good friend of my parents.  She was a fun neighbor when I was growing up.

This is a fun fold to make and I love Elizabeth Craft's glitter stickers!  I used MS butterfly and leaf punches with Memory box flower die.  Below are a few photos of a side and back view of this card! Happy 90th Birthday Shirley!

Sorry this photo is a little blurry but I deleted the picture before I check it.  Love this paper which is from Graphic 45, Gilded Lily.  and the die is from SU.

This side view of the card and it shows how the card stands up.  The paper I used is from SU and Graphic 45.

My Valentine!

I have started making my Valentine's Day cards because it will be here before you know it.  This one is for my husband.  It is the twist and pop card, using Mon Amour from Graphic 45.  The paper is beautiful!  I am glad I don't have to mail this because the embellishments I used inside and out make the card a little thick.  When I make this card again, I think I will put a gusset in it.

L O V E
The paper from Graphic 45 makes this card so special.  The cupids are dies from Die-namics and the lace heart die is from Cheery Lynn Designs.  It is kind of hard to see but the letters L O V E are glittered letters from Michael's.  They fit perfectly in the hearts from Spellbinders/Nestabilities.  Still need to make a couple more Valentine's Day cards.  Thanks for checking this card out!

Happy Birthday Hubby!

Happy Birthday card for my husband, Mark!  Love the saying on the front "A little birdie told me that it was your birthday"!  This is perfect with Tim Holtz Crazy Birds!!  These birds are so adorably funny for cards!  Gotta have googly eyes for these birds.  The Building Block style is fun to do too!  I colored the birds with copic markers.

A closer look!
How can you not love these birds. The paper I used is from S.E.I, pretty paper.  The pictures below are side and back views.  The card measures 6x6 so it isn't a small card that I usually make.  Happy Birthday to the best guy I know!!

Winter Thank you

I am obsessed with this stamp set from SU called "Snow Place"!  These penquins are the cutest little guys!  I feel like I am playing "paper dolls"!  Okay, I know I am dating myself but I did love cutting out paper dolls when I was young and changing their clothes.

This is a thank you shaker card for a neighbor that took us to dinner the other night because we helped them move last year on short notice.  It was certainly  unexpected because they were such good neighbors always willing to help us with our dog, Gretel when we were on vacation.  Gretel loved them and they loved Gretel.  We wanted to repay them for their help but being the generous people they are treated us.

Back to the card, I love making shaker cards and this is a cute winter scene.  Just a simple and cute card.  Thank you Marty & Lauren!

A Birthday Party

Here is another Z-fold card that I made this week for a friend's birthday next week.  The theme is a "Birthday Party" - complete with cake, presents, balloons and confetti!!  The sentiment is on the inside of the front and the back has another sentiment.  Check out my pictures below for the back of the card.

Let's Party
Love the owl punch

Happy New Year 2017

These 2 Thank you cards are for my daughter and son who made out Christmas and our Anniversary special!  They took us to dinner for our Anniversary and Christmas was wonderful spending time with them and family.  My sister, Andrea had the big family Christmas and she did a great job.  I got this stamp set/bundle from Stampin up for Christmas and love them!!  The penquin and the snowmen are adorable!  The trees in the background are from Elizabeth Craft and the big snowflakes are a sizziz die. I love the cute little scarf, tie and ear muffs for the penquins and they snowmen.

Love the sentiment that is included in the stamp set.  It says, "there's snow place like home"! The background behind the penquin is a snowflake cuttlebug EF.

I have been busy this week cleaning up and out my craftroom.  I got a few things for Christmas so a realized I had to go through my stuff and see what I haven't used in a long time and decided it was time to get rid of stuff.  Believe it or not, I love organizing so it was actually fun to do! I'll have to post some pictures of my craftroom once I get it the way I want it.  This is my first card of the year and again this is a great bundle from Stampin up!!  Happy 2017!

New Year's Eve Fun!
