First August Birthday!

When you make your own cards, you can make them to fit the person. For the last couple of years my brother and his wife have started renting an RV and they love it. I made the RV with my Cricut but the trees are from a Sizzix die that I have. I haven't made a card in a box in a while and thought this was perfect! Happy Birthday Hal! Enjoy your special day!
August is a busy month for birthdays so I will be back before you know it with more cards! I am also working on some projects since our craft fair is in November and it will be here before you know it!

For the Love of Camping

Making a double Z fold birthday card is perfect for any hobby or profession that the person has. It is a fun style and I never get tired of making one. This is for our friend's grandson who loves to camp in his grandparent's RV! They live in Florida but come every June to camp with his grandparents in New Hampshire's White Mountains. The RV is made with my Cricut and the other images are dies that I have from Elizabeth Craft, Stampin up, and Spellbinders. Happy 12th Birthday Caden!

Baby Cradle Card

This is another Mixed up Craft tutorial that I watched and it does a great baby card. I made it like a baby's cradle with stuffed animals in it. I am going to try and put the link for the tutorial but I haven't had good luck putting on this blog in the past. Sam gives you an alternative if you want to put the middle section in the card with acetate or just DSP for both sides of the card.
I tried posting the link but didn't work but if you go to youtube and put in Mixed up crafts cradle card, it does come up. The paper I used is from Echo Park. Perfect for a little boy. Have fun making this card. Welcome to the world, Samuel!

Happy July Anniversary!

This is the second trifold card that I have made but this one is for an anniversary. It gives you a lot of room to decorate and a sentiment or more than one sentiment like I did in this one.
Graphic 45's Blossom was used again for this card. It is such a beautiful collection that you don't need to many embellishments the paper does it for you. Love it! Happy July!
