Caroline's Disney Card

Mickey hiding in the balloon
Our neighbor's girls love to get a handmade card every year and yesterday was Caroline's 9th birthday.  They do like going to Disney and I haven't made one for her so I  made a Mickey Shaker card.  Love that I had Mickey's hand to hold the shaker balloon!  I never get tired of making Shaker cards.

Next week our good friend has a birthday and the card below is a card for her.  I guess I will have to mail it but would love to hand it to her! She loves to make cards too!  I hope this means her expectations!!  Happy Birthday Jane!

Twisted Pop up
I have the Karen Burniston's die for this type of card but I have made it many times without it.  The paper collection is Typography from Graphic 45 which is always a win, win!!  Hope we can celebrate soon with you, Jane!

Class of 2020!

Shaker front

Twisted Pop up
I made this card yesterday for my niece's friend who is graduating from the University of New England and unfortunately, there will be no graduation ceremony so I wanted to make a special card for Emma to give to Jillian.  I checked online to find out UNE's colors and there are black, white and blue!  The front of the card is a shaker style with stars for the shaker part and congrats is from the Tim Holtz words.  The inside is Karen Burniston's twisted pop up die.  I have made this card before without a die so it can be done but it is a lot easier with her die.  Congratulations Jillian!  I know you worked hard!!!

Happy May Day!

Last month when we all went into lockdown and stay at home,  this was the first project I made.  I know I have said this before but I really did have fun making this project.  Sam from Mixed up Crafts has some great tutorials and this was one of the them.  I love how this came out!

Roll Up Treat Box
This has 4 different boxes/compartments for little gifts or candy to fill. It is held together with velcro (you can use magnets).  I felt that velcro was less costly especially if giving as a gift.   The paper collection is Graphic 45's Enchanted Forest which is so beautiful!!  I don't think Graphic 45 has a bad paper collection but again this collection is stunning!!  I want to give you the link for this tutorial from Mixed up Crafts.  Please give it a try, fun! It is called a Roll up Treat Box!
