Trio of Blue

I thought I would get a jump-start on some birthday cards for the year.  My mother's birthday is in May and she just loves flowers and I love the color blue. This is my blue card for the month.  It is just blue everything. Blue flowers, blue butterflies, blue bling and light blue ribbon as well as blue DP from SU.  The DP is called Blueberry Crisp and it is beautiful!!! The flowers from SU  Fifth Avenue Floral is against Tim Holtz Wood Grain EF.  The leaves are "Make an Impression" stamp.  I used copic markers to color the flowers and leaves.  The ribbon is light blue from SU  and then I heated the ribbon to crinkle it.  I love the crinkled look!  On each  side of the card is MS lace punch with a little bling from one of the craft stores, again, light blue.  Can't wait to give it to Mom!

  1. Oh, Rochelle. This card is gorgeous. Love the blue. The woodgrain for the background is nice, too. I have not done this fold yet, but I think I am going to try it as soon as I get home.

  2. Wow! I love this card! The blue flowers are gorgeous! The butterflies are a nice touch! I am jealous that you have Mom's card finished already!
