Accordion Easter Card

Certainly glad that Easter is late this year because this is the first time I have had time  to make an Easter card.  This one is for my son and his girlfriend (so I can get away with using pink).  Love the little bunnies from IO!! So cute!!  This is the second card I have made with the sizzix accordion die. Karen Burniston is the creator of this design for sizzix.  She is a very talented lady!!  The first frame I used memory box easter basket die and the eggs are just the large oval punch from SU. The middle frame is the sentiment and the last frame are tulips from the owl punch which I love!!!

Here is a closer look at frames one and two.  Bunnies everywhere! Pink and blue so pretty!

The tulips are a sign that spring is here which means so is Easter!  Love making these tulips with SU owl punch. Just needed another bunny and a bow!

The back of the card, I couldn't leave blank so I decided to put my sentiments there.  One of them reads- God sent his only begotten son to pay ransom for our souls, How much love must a Father have? to send us this example of love's role.  This was fun putting his altogether and now just need to pop in the mail.  Thanks for stopping by and having a look!!

Easter Bunnies

Chubby
These are the cutest Easter bunnies!!! Once again I saw them on pinterest and you can check them out here.
She calls them chubby bunnies!  I think she made this chubby bunny as an easel card but I thought it would be fun to make them for my coworkers  as a little bag with the sizzix Bigz bag die.  I am not sure what was used but I used the biggest nestability scallop circle for the body.  The wide oval SU punch for the feet and ears. Circle punches for the hands and whiskers.  Also a tiny little heart punch for the nose. Check out below for the back of the bag.  I did another variation using the Top Note die from SU and you can check out where I got the idea here.  The Top Note variation gave him some whiskers which I just used my paper crimper and cut thin strips. The only difference is that I used nestabilities oval for the ears.

Not so chubby

Filled them up with pink grass and candy and then I was done. I  know I have said this before but I did have a lot of fun making these cute little bunnies.  So adorable!!!  I made 6 of them and they were a hit at the office.  Put a smile on everyone's face!!

Happy Easter everyone!!!

Adorable tail!
Which one do you like the best?
