Easter Bunny Centerpiece

I thought I needed an Easter centerpiece for the table this year. I made this cute little fabric bunny. The pattern I used was on Pinterest and was so easy to do. The eggs are wooden which are painted and then decorated with lace and flowers. I had a cute little bunny and just added it to the centerpiece. I'm really happy the way it came out! For some reason I am still working on some Christmas items. They happen to be Christmas trees. The first one was a challenge from a friend to see if I could copy it. This first picture is the picture she sent me...
This is the one that I did. I used IOD moulds that I have and it came out pretty good. My Christmas tree Wall art!
This second Christmas tree are 2 inch wooden blocks. They are painted and glued together. Added some decoration and words from my Cricut machine. This was an easy and fun project to do!

Ocean Blue Birthday Card

Love these pop up dimensional cards. I made this one for my hairdresser's birthday. He lives near the ocean and loves to run to Willard Beach in South Portland. It is a beautiful spot! I have made countless cards and mini albums with Graphic 45's Ocean blue. I am also hoarding the paper collection for more projects with this special collection. Here is a picture of the front of the card below. I used some cut aparts for the front.
I also wanted to share some pictures of some Easter projects that my sisters and I did for our "space" at Cole's Corner in Wells, Maine. Thanks for stopping by.

Spring is here!

My sisters and I have been busy getting ready for a craft fair at the end of April at USM (University of Southern Maine in Gorham) and also trying to do some more items for Easter at our area at Cole's Corner in Wells. Here are some Easter items above and below. I love the wreath for someone's door. The cute chicks are made with pom pom maker!
Love making these flower filled envelope/cards for Mother's Day. These are headed to the craft fair. They are made with the We R Memory Keepers envelope punch board. I think I may make another one with a yellow color theme. They can be used for any occasion. Birthdays would be perfect too!

More Birthday Cards & Projects

This is a new style card for me to make with cupcakes and candles for a 6-year old girl's birthday card! This is called a Center Pop up Step Card by Iced Images. I have made many cards from her tutorials and she does a wonderful job explaining it all. Here is her link to this style card at
This is another February birthday card I made for my daughter's friend, Nelson. It is a step card with the theme of camping/hiking which is his favorite thing to do!
Happy Birthday to Emily and Nelson! I have started making some Easter projects for our booth in Wells, Maine.
Love making these signs for the front door. Whether it says "hello" or "welcome", they are fun to make. This one is a wooden circle that has been painted and added flowers, ribbon and wooden "hello" word with a bird mould from IOD.
I have quite a few corks and thought it would be fun to make an Easter display/bowl (like I did for Valentine's day, see previous post) with the corks that I had left. Added a bunny that I had in my stash and decorated a wooden Easter egg that I have too. I thought it came out pretty cute. This is a great alternative to an Easter basket, right? I am still working on some more projects both wall signs and Easter centerpieces! Check back in a few days to see what I have completed. Thanks for stopping by!

Crafting

I love having a theme to make a birthday card for someone. This one is for my husband. He can't start a day without his coffee! Love this set from Stampin up "Coffee Cafe". It has been used a lot! The bridge style card is an easy one to make and worked perfectly! Happy Birthday to my best friend who happens to be my husband, lucky me!
The coffee bean stamp is so cute! My husband pointed out that it looks like lips! I think so too!
I have been doing some crafts with my pom pom maker. Love all the ideas on Pinterest especially the bunny bottoms! They are so adorable! It was easy to make two cute chicks with Easter eggs for Easter and little gnomes with their hats for anything. Lastly I made a vignette with a pom pom bunny in a garden that says "Hello Spring"! Can't wait for spring! I also made the carrots for the little bunny. It won't be long before spring is here!

Easter Bunny Boxes

Love making these punch art Easter Bunnies! These are pretty tall boxes/baskets. The base measures 6 inches and then with the handles it is another 5 inches. I wanted to make it tall enough to fit the chocolate bunny lollipop. I used graphic 45's Botanical Tea paper collection. I loved all the pinks and lavenders for spring box/basket. I made them for our neighbor's girls who have been bringing eggs to us. Our neighbors have chickens now and they have been giving them to neighbors. I thought this would be a cute "thankyou"! I added a cute flower to the back of the box/basket.
For my daughter I got her a little basket plus some dish towels with doggie sayings on it and also a big soup cup with doggies on it. As you can see it is a doggie theme. Her little puppy is getting so big and is graduating from cute to handsome. Next week he will be 7 months old. Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter!

Easter Box!

Today I am mailing an Easter surprise for my son and his girlfriend who live in a "hot spot" for the coronavirus, San Francisco area.  I worry about them but my son calls or texts pretty regularly to keep us informed about how they are doing.   Everyone at this point needs their spirits lifted, right!!! I made this drop down box from Mixed Up Crafts for them.  Here is some pictures of the inside of the box.  Graphic 45, Secret Garden is the collection I used for this. I only had a few papers left so I used them up and it is a good springtime collection.

Here is the tutorial that Sam from Mixed up crafts did.  She does a wonderful job explaining this project.    https://www.pinterest.com/pin/34832597107643332/

Also in the Easter Box, I made a quilted tabletop runner for their dining room table.  Eric likes quilted things so I thought this would be cool for them. Sabrina is also a craft girl and thought she would get a kick out of it too.

Lastly, I have been keeping busy in my craftroom and I made these two thank you cards for my daughter who has been out of work for 3 weeks because she works in a restaurant.  Some of her regulars have sent her tips during this hard time which was so sweet of them. I thought it would be a nice gesture to send them a thank you card. One of them is a dance teacher and the other one loves golfing.

I just want to say to everyone, things will get better.  Please stay safe and stay away from one another, we will get through this.  God doesn't give us things that we can't handle.  We can do this!  God bless you all!

Love Bunnies!

Before April is over, I wanted to show the 2 Easter cards I made for my children.  One is an Easel Card and the other a tunnel card.  Elizabeth Craft has the cutest bunny/rabbit die that I had to use it on both cards. The carrot that the bunny is holding is so small and so darn cute!  Love it!  The Martha Stewart balloon punch worked great for the size Easter egg that I needed.  Closer look at the individual cards are featured below so you can see the background of the tunnel card better. Thanks for stopping by that checking these cards out!

Spring flowers popping up with a bird on the embossed branch from Cuttlebug.  Of course, there are more Easter eggs.  The clouds are from Stampin up's cupcake punch.  Just love this card!

Easter Baskets Galore!

With Easter this weekend, I have been working on Easter Baskets for my daughter and her roommates.  I have made Easter Baskets similar to these with the Envelope Punch Board but I saw these on Pinterest using just one or two pieces of cardstock.  These are good size baskets too! As you can see, they hold the Lindt chocolate bunny and some candies too.   I have decorated them with Gerber Daisies and punch art bunnies and ducks.  These are made with 2 sheets of cardstock measuring 6 x 9 inches and then glued together, overlapping to give the basket some strength but you can make this same basket with one sheet on cardstock measuring 9 x 9 inches.  If you want a larger basket use cardstock measuring 12 x 12.  The scoring for this  basket is below with pictures of each size.  Check out more pictures of my baskets.

Love the purple

I hope you can see these pictures of the templates for the baskets.  2 different sizes of Easter baskets to make depending on your gifts/candy.  Another tip which I did in the last few baskets was to round the corners on the sides.  Have fun making these.  Happy Easter!
