Birthday Cards & Projects

These 2 cards are for very good friends birthday which is this Thursday. They are twins and, believe me, it is easier to make the same card but I didn't do that because they are twins. We have been friends since the age of 9. Flowers and bees are summertime themes for birthday cards which is what I did here. The flower card is a double Z fold and the bee card is made with Tim Holtz stencil and paste to make the hive. My sisters and I are getting ready for a craft fair that we are doing in Kennebunk on August 14th. Here are a few projects that I have finished this week.
I might have showed these "Welcome" & "Hello" signs before but I love making them with pizza tins from the Dollar Store! Enjoy your day!

Marching into March!

Our good friend's birthday was yesterday and we are getting on a plane tomorrow to go and visit them in Florida!  I am all packed and ready to go!  I made this birthday card for her.  She loves her gardens, both flowers and vegetables so I had to make her a card with flowers on their fence!

In addition to the card, I also made a mini file folder album for her with pictures of her grandsons in it. There is plenty of room for her to add more pictures but I did steal some pictures from  her facebook page and her daughter-in-law's facebook page.  Her grandsons are so adorable; it was definitely hard to pick which pictures to use but below is a sample of some of the pages.   I used graphic 45 paper collection, Mother Goose.  This little mini album uses only 3 file folders.  If you want the link to it, let me know, I will definitely find it for you.  Thanks for stopping by!

Eric's Valentine

I just finished making my son's Valentine. It is called a Building Block card.  I saw the tutorial on pinterest and thought it was adorable and as she says it can be used for almost any occasion.  It really is very easy!!
The tutorial is from Splitcoast but here it is from pinterest.  I used memory box dies, nestabilities, sizzix and the three dimensional heart on the front that says Hugs & Kisses is from Walmart which I found for only a dollar and I got a bunch as you can see.    Check out more pictures below but I have to run to put it in the mail tomorrow!!
Another view!
