Happy Anniversary Card!

My sister and her husband had their 9th Anniversary yesterday and I made this card for them. It is called a balconey card and I used one of my favorite paper collections, Graphic 45 Blossom! It is gorgeous! The colors are just perfect! The stamp set is from Stampin up and is called Grace's Garden and dies. I am always looking for different style cards and making sure there is enough room for a sentiment. This one also folds up great for mailing. Here are some more pictures with a side and back views.
Again Happy Anniversary Adrianne & Lenny! Can't believe it has been 9 years! Love you both!

March is coming!

I have been having so much fun making these Triple Floating Cards! The tutorial that I have been watching is from "Iced Images" and she does a great job explaining. The above card is made for a dear friend who has a birthday March 1st and will be in the mail tomorrow. The paper collection is from Graphic 45's Bloom, so beautiful! Happy Birthday Eileen!
This upright Z fold card is a milestone birthday card for my brother in law! Had to have the 60 pop on the card and I think it does in red! Again I used Graphic 45's Couture collection but I used more masculine colors.
Stampin up's stamp set was perfect for my friend's birthday card. I think this style card is a swing card. I definitely will be making more of these style cards.Happy Birthday Lynne! Lastly, I have been working on some oars and finally I finished them last week. I had to add anchors on both oars. I love this little corner in our family room with the framed lighthouse picture on the right (hard to see) and then on the left the compass. Thanks for stopping by!

Post Thanksgiving Birthday

This is a variation of a trifold card. I made it for my husband brother's girlfriend who is quite an artist. Her birthday is tomorrow and I wanted to make a personal card just for her. They were here in October visiting from Washington State. It was a lot of fun especially showing Sandy's girlfriend how to eat lobster and clams. I made part of the card with my cricut. This style card gives you a lot of room for a sentiment which is on the back of the card. Below is a picture of the 4 of us having some Maine lobster and "steamers"! It was a terrific visit with them! Happy Birthday Linda!!
My sisters and I are making these Santa/Gingerbread houses. They are 9 inches in height and 6 inches wide. You can put candy or a gift inside the house. I found a template on Pinterest and then just adjusted the sides. Loving how this can out!
The holidays will be here before you know it! Time to decorate!

First Snowfall!

Yesterday was our first snowfall for the 2023-2024 season. There was only a coating but it is always so pretty!
I have been busy in my craft room. I made a birthday card for friends and relatives. Here is a box card and yes he does like golf.
This card is a 4 panel pop out card for my sister-in-law. I love putting pictures in cards.
Wanted to show this last picture of Ollie, our granddog. This picture shows a little fall and a little winter and a great subject matter! Ollie even posed for the picture on a walk.

Autumn has Arrived!

We had our weekly craft day with my sisters this week and we made these cute fabric sunflowers using mason jar covers. This is an easy craft to do in front of the television. I made a couple more and made a little bouquet! They are all over Pinterest.
Here are a couple cards that I made for the end of September birthday and Anniversary!
This is different fold for me to make. It is a pop out screen fold card. I used it for an anniversary for my brother and his wife. The back has plenty of room for the sentiment.
I used the same stamps for my daughter in law's birthday card. Her parents sent me these stamps as a gift! Love them! This style card is a pop out swing card which I haven't made in a while. Always love to find different style cards to make. Thanks for stopping by and checking out my blog!

Summer Birthdays

These pinwheel tower cards are very impressive, in that, they stand so nice for display and fold easily for mailing. There is lots of room for decorating. I made this one for a good friend whose birthday was at the end of July and was able to decorate it a lot so I just handed it to her. I have seen a lot of them on Pinterest and they are all so pretty. The DP that I used is from Stampin up with dies for a lot of different companies. Below are more pictures of the card from different angles.
Folded flat for mailing.
Our neighbor, Julia, had her 8th birthday this week. She is a fan of mermaids and unicorns. Made this shaker card for her. This stamp/die set is from Stampin up. Happy Birthday Julia!

Warmest Wishes!

Praying for no virus!
Our sentiment
This will be a quick post for a card I made for our friend's daughter in law.  She was exposed by a coworker (who shouldn't have been at work) along with about 60 other police officers to the coronavirus.  She lives in Florida and is a police officer who works for Orange County.  She has a husband who also is on the police force and 2 adorable young sons.  She is quarantined for 2 weeks. She is close to her 14th day so and is still Covid-19 free.  Praying that she and her other co-workers does not come down with the virus.

Birthday Eclipses!

Eric's Birthday

Maine Humor!
I made this Eclipse card for my son's birthday back in October.  October was such a busy month for me getting ready for our craft fair that I didn't have time to post his card.  The picture I used to make this card is the Portland Headlight in Cape Elizabeth, Maine.  (The most photographed lighthouse in United States) It is a beautiful spot and I thought since my son lives in San Francisco, he would get a love it.    I also made a tag for him with Julie Nutting's boy stamp.  Love using her stamps!!  Below are some more Eclipse cards I have made for birthdays and other occasions!  Right now I have only done this method with pictures but I want to do it with stamped scenery too.  I just love this technique!  Thanks for stopping by and checking out my cards.

Halloween Treats

Now, these test tube Halloween cards are so much fun to make!  Halloween M&M's work great for these test tubes.  The test tubes don't hold a lot but that is fine because I  made them for a bunch of adult friends and they don't need a lot of candy!!  Right???!!!    I have almost used up all of the Echo Park collection that I bought  about a month ago, making cards, boxes and these treat cards.  There is a great sticker sheet and cut aparts that come with this collection and I have used it all up along with my Halloween dies and punches. Here is the  video  for these treat cards which is found at

                              https://www.pinterest.com/pin/34832597102778013/

I forget the lady's name that does the video but she does a wonderful job explaining how to make these treat cards! Below is a picture of the inside of the card.

Added a cute Halloween joke!

The ribbon says "Boo"
Here are the boxes with handles that I made for the trick or treaters on Halloween night!  We don't get a lot of children so I made 5 of these cute boxes.  The link for this box is below and is found on Splitcoast Stampers.  I didn't add the flap--just a handle!  Again, I used the Echo Park Halloween collection!  I have to thank my sister, Chris, for Elizabeth Craft's bat die - it was perfect with this collection!

I am ready for Halloween night now!  I have one more Halloween card to show you which I will do soon! Love using all my Halloween dies, punches and stamps!!!  Thanks for stopping by!
