Here is the card to go with the previous post for my brother's 60th birthday. He has been a player of baseball and has just loved the game since he was a Little League player. He is crazy for the game and as a New York Yankees fan, I made baseball the theme. This is a sizzix die and the ball is handmade.
I added a flap so there was more room to add sentiments and "old age" quotes. The stickers were from Michael's which is always fun to use!
This is the back of the card and I love the sentiment on this side. My husband came up with it. It is hard to see but it says, "If your life was a baseball game, you would be in extra innings!" Love it! Again hoping he is surprised and hoping for good weather! Happy 60th Birthday Hal! We really do love you!!

60th Birthday Party
My brother is turning 60 in August but his wife and children are throwing him a surprise party next weekend and his sisters from Maine and Massachusetts are headed to New Jersey to surprise him early! Hoping he will be surprised!! I made him this photo "C" for his office. C standing for our last name Cook. The pictures are when he was a little guy all the way until today! Added some embellishments like baseball glove with bat since he was a baseball player in high school and college. He was a great catcher for all the teams he played. Also added his age "60" in a couple of places, just so he doesn't forget. Haha! It measures 18 inches x 13 inches, so it is a really a good size "work of art". Happy Birthday Hal! Love you much!

Mini Birthday Tote Bag
These mini bags that I saw on pinterest were so cute that I wanted to make them for a get together last night. A bunch of us from my high school class are turning 60 this year and I thought it would be a cute little gift. The instructions for this bag, which is very easy, is here. I used Graphic 45 by the sea paper but I forgot to take a picture of all of them so here is what was left. The sentiment on the tag was from a Stampin up set that I had but so appropriate. I put a couple charms inside for the gift with some, what else, chocolate! It was perfect!

Summer 60th!
Another beachcomber turning 60! Mary is my bestie!! She turns 60 before me!! Her birthday is next week and she lives in Narragansett, Rhode Island so I am getting this in the mail today or tomorrow. Narragansett is known for it's beaches and sailing. Again the perfect paper to use is Graphic 45 - By the Sea! The box card is the elongated version so could get more sailboat boats in it. A total of 4, hard to see the 4th. She loves the sun so had to add the bright sun as the focal point. Happy 60th Birthday Mary!! Your the best! Check out more pictures below.

By the Sea 60th Birthday!
Another 60th birthday card for a high school classmate! She is a beachcomber so I thought I would use Graphic 45's By the Sea. Love this collection! I also saw this "pop up" card on pinterest and wanted to try it. Here is the tutorial for it. It is pretty easy and closes up to put in a regular envelope which is always good. Check out my pics below for more views. Thanks for stopping by.

You Rock 60!
In a couple of weeks my hairdresser turns 60! Terrific milestone!! He gets a kick out of my cards so I thought I would make him one. He loves football, The Patriots, and all kinds of music. Since I have made football cards in the past I thought I would do a music one. The guitar is a template and the paper is Graphic 45, I think, Communique. The music notes are from Memory box. Easel cards are great for displaying. Happy 60th Birthday Shawn!

Beachy Birthday
Friends of mine from my high school graduating class are all turning 60 this year! So I have been busy making 60 birthday cards for them. 4 of them rent a beach house in Old Orchard Beach every year and another 4 of us always make a point of spending at least a couple of days with them. We look forward to their "beach week". They usually have pretty good weather so we are hoping the same for this summer!!! The cards that I have made so far have been beachy themes. This one, of course, are sandals which I had a template for them. So this was just fussy cutting them. Just added a couple of flowers and some bling. I thought it was adorable!! Happy 60th Birthday Julia!!
