30 Year Anniversary!
Today marks 30 years my husband and I have lived in Falmouth. We moved from Raymond to Falmouth so that our children would have a good school which included a high school. My husband, actually, graduated from Falmouth High School and now our children have too! We have seen neighbors come and go in 30 years and the card I made below is for a neighbor, Caroline, who is a ski racer. Usually I make cards that something to do with the season but since she is such a great skier, I know she will love this. I used my Cricut for the image on the front of the card, racing down the mountain. Happy Birthday Caroline!
My Mother's day flowers!
Yesterday was Mother's Day which was a beautiful day so we went to the Eastern Prom in Portland and had lobster and crabmeat rolls from a local shop in Falmouth. We brought Ollie with us. Here are some pictures of us enjoying the afternoon! Hope every mother had a wonderful day yesterday!

Mother's Day Envelope Flower Cards
This is a beautiful envelope card with flowers that can be artificial flowers or paper flowers. I love making these with artificial flowers! The tutorial for these envelope cards is using the We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board. Sam from Mixed Up Crafts does a great job explaining how to make these. I have also made them for birthdays, anniversaries and Christmas! Such a great idea for most any holiday! Here is the tutorial from Mixed up Crafts
Here is a birthday one that I made.
Happy Mother's Day to all you moms out there!

Spring is here!
My sisters and I have been busy getting ready for a craft fair at the end of April at USM (University of Southern Maine in Gorham) and also trying to do some more items for Easter at our area at Cole's Corner in Wells. Here are some Easter items above and below. I love the wreath for someone's door. The cute chicks are made with pom pom maker!
Love making these flower filled envelope/cards for Mother's Day. These are headed to the craft fair. They are made with the We R Memory Keepers envelope punch board. I think I may make another one with a yellow color theme. They can be used for any occasion. Birthdays would be perfect too!

Best Mom Ever!
I just have to start saying that my mother is the best mom ever! She brought up 8 terrific children who are all adults now. My sister Terri, passed away 6 years ago and she was an amazing mother, teacher, sister and friend. My mom took care of us all and a husband who adored her. Mom's birthday is next week and she will be 86 and looks terrific! Although, she wouldn't agree....
The card that I made for her is from Graphic 45's Botanical Tea! It is such a beautiful collection and so springy that I had to use it for my mom's card. The easel card design just showcases the gorgeous collection. I really didn't have to do much because it all goes together perfectly. I did add some pink flowers from Michael's $1.50 bin and some butterflies with the MS punch. My mom loves birds and flowers so this card is perfect for her!
I love this picture of mom. She was enjoying a story that my husband was telling her. Love it when she really laughs. What a wonderful Mother's Day! Four of her children were able to celebrate with Mom at Macaroni Grill yesterday. With husbands, grandchildren and one great-grandchild, there were 12 of us in all. Hope everyone had a wonderful day!

Minnie's Mother's Day!
Stampin up's new tag punch called Scallop Tag Topper Punch was used for My Mom's card this year. I love this new punch is so versatile. My mother has a collection of Minnies so I decided to make her a card with Minnie and Mickey!! I saw this card on Pinterest and wanted to give it a try. Click HERE for the video on how this card was done. Just a little measuring and then just decorate!
The inside gives you plenty of space for the sentiment and more decorating. I had some ribbon with Minnie's ears and bow left over from some scrapbooking it did last year so used it for the tie. The dies for Mickey and Minnieare from ProvoCraft.
I made a couple more of these Tag Topper cards but haven't finished decorating them. May is a busy card month with birthdays and next weekend we have a bridal shower in the family so many ways to use these cards. Thanks for looking!!

Happy Mother's Day
I just read that this Sizzix daisy die is retiring from Stampin up. I love this die so I thought I would use it for my Mother's day card. It makes a lovely gerber daisy. You can't see it very well but I used pearls for the inside of the daisy and 3 small ones on the lavendar ribbon to the right. Martha Stewart border punch to make the strip and nestabilities for the sentiment. Happy Mother's Day to all you mothers!!!
