Fabulous Birthday

I made this simple card for a young girl's birthday today! Emily loves her makeup! All of these images were made from my Cricut.  Always happy to use my Cricut, especially Cricut Access! Here is the inside of the card.

The eye shadow compact was also from Cricut Access. I thought it was a nice touch. We are getting a blizzard here today in the northeast but we are headed towards spring. I thought I would share what I made and gave to a friend for a centerpiece. Flowers and birds say Spring to me! I used a IOD mould for the side of the plate both the front and the back. More close up pictures below showing the painted candlestick to match the little birdhouse. Love how this came out!

State of Maine Card

I was asked to make a card that would represent the State of Maine for friend's teacher class. The class has gotten many cards from a lot of states but hadn't received one from Maine.  Maine is known for lobsters, the ocean, lighthouses, moose, mountains, pine trees and, of course, chicadee's which is the State's bird.  The style card is a variation of a trishutter card. I wanted to showcase this card since it does highlight Maine!

This card measures 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 and I wanted to show how it closes up to mail. There is plenty of room on the back of the card for the sentiment which I am showing below....

Thanks for stopping by to check out this special card!

Hello February!

Valentine's Day is just a week away and I wanted to show my Valentine Centerpiece with some added Valentine Target birds. Love making these centerpieces for every occasion/holiday! I am thinking the ribbons make the piece.  This is going to be a busy month taking care of our friends pups while they are travelling. Here is Penny and Ollie! The two of them get along great!

Macy arrived last night and here is a photo of her! She is so sweet and lovable! February has been very cold and snowy as has the whole winter here in the Northeast but spring is coming. Now to get those March birthday cards done! Thanks for stopping by.
