Spring Flower Arrangements

Gerber Daisies

I have been busy making paper flowers for spring arrangements.  The flowers are Gerber daisies using a Stampin up die that I have, also using tattered florals by Sizzix, Tim Holtz.  I made some roses with a punch that I have from Stampin up which you will see in pictures below.  The vase for this arrangement I made with chipboard and decorated with Graphic 45 Fairie Dust paper collection.

My daughter has given me a lot of corks since she works in a restaurant and I have been working with them.  I have made a planter, beachy themed Christmas tree and a cell phone holder (which I have been using in my craft room).  I also had in my craft room an miniature aluminum watering can to use for a flower arrangement.  Trying to keep myself busy with projects!  Happy Spring!

Warmest Wishes!

Praying for no virus!
Our sentiment
This will be a quick post for a card I made for our friend's daughter in law.  She was exposed by a coworker (who shouldn't have been at work) along with about 60 other police officers to the coronavirus.  She lives in Florida and is a police officer who works for Orange County.  She has a husband who also is on the police force and 2 adorable young sons.  She is quarantined for 2 weeks. She is close to her 14th day so and is still Covid-19 free.  Praying that she and her other co-workers does not come down with the virus.

Birthday for Hairdresser

My hairdresser, who I miss immensely, had his 65th birthday last week and I had this all ready to give to him but because of the coronavirus has had to close his salon.  I will give it to him when they open back up but I had to show this to everyone.  It is an explosion box and at the top of it is a shaker star with 65 on it.  I used Graphic 45 paper collection called World's Fair.

Look at the cute charms!

Waiting area

The chair that I have in front of the sink was actually a Christmas ornament that my husband received from a teacher with a book and apple on the arm of it. I just cut it off and used it for the chair where Shawn cuts hair.  In the waiting room, I  made the couch and table out of paper.  It is orgami folding.  The charms I found on Amazon and worked out great for his sink area.   This is a perfect birthday card/box for him since his salon just moved into a new place.  The salon had only been open in the new location when they had to close because of Covid 19.  Below are some more pictures of the outside of the box.  I am happy the way this came out and hope he likes it too.
Happy 65th Birthday Shawn!

April Cards

This is a tunnel-type card with a nautical theme for my brother-in-law's birthday which is this Sunday!  His birthday is April 12th which is Easter Sunday this year.  I love making tunnel cards and also beach/nautical themed cards. The paper collection is from Joann's that I got last year when I was in Florida and just love this paper pad!!  I got some new shell dies in March and I wanted to use them along with this paper collection.  Happy Birthday Lenny!  Love you!

Front of the card
This card is a tunnel/diorama card that I made for my sister.  She lives in Georgia so I wanted to get it done and in the mail because her birthday is April 17th.  The paper collection is Graphic 45 Imagine. It is such a beautiful collection and I had to use it!   I used a lot of the images from the collection, fussy cutting them.  I have seen a card similar to this on Pinterest and wanted to try and re-create it for her.  I couldn't find the dimensions so I did my own.  It isn't quite a center tunnel card like the one above.  It is more of a rectangle for the center fold of the card.  I have another picture below to show this a little better and also the front and back of the card.  Happy Birthday Sis!  Love you!

Happy Birthday Phillis!

Oh that's right she is also turning 60!

Back of the card for the sentiment
I made this birthday card for a good friend who's birthday is Saturday and she turns 65!  I have a lot of friends turning 65 this year including me!!  Anna loves the beach so how appropriate is this for  her.  I used lots of dies and punches for this card. The stamps I used is from Stampin up, love their octopus!   Happy Birthday Anna!
