Happy New Year's Eve!

Before we begin the new year, I wanted to share my Christmas cards for 2021. It is an inverted center fold card using Stampin up's ornament stamp and dies. I have a Christmas tree in the background which is from Elizabeth Craft. I make a total of 40 cards to send out so I made 25 of these cards and 15 of a second type which is below. The stamps and dies were also from Stampin Up. I am sorry but I cannot remember the name of them. Both style cards were fun to make and the paper is from Authenique, Stampin up, and Graphic 45.
Before we close out 2021, I also wanted to share 2 more birthday cards that were in December. One was for my sister and the other one was for my brother in law, Russ.
This card is a triple fold with graphic 45 Bloom collection, which I made for my sister. It is more of a 3 panel card and has plenty of room for decorating and sentiments.
This style card is a bridge fold card. Russ has helped my sisters, and me with our craft booth with all of his carpentry so I thought this would be a fitting card for him. Happy Birthdays Chris! and Russ!
I wanted to leave you with a picture of our booth at Cole's Corner in Well's Maine. My sisters and I are having so much fun repurposing and making things for this booth. Happy New Year Everyone!

Christmas Gifts

This is the first of 3 wooden letters that I have made this month for a Christmas gift. C is for Chloe, she is a granddaughter of a very good friend. She also wanted me to do one for her other granddaughter, Emily.
These were so much fun to make! My friend is going to give them to Chloe and Emily to give to their father for his apartment to put in their rooms. I think that was a great idea! Lastly, I made one for another friend's granddaughter, Mia!
These were so much fun to make for my friends! The embellishments were fun to do too! I just love pictures and all of these girls were so "stinkin cute"! I just love, love, love making them! The pictures say it all! Merry Christmas little ones!!!

Happy December Birthdays!

I haven't made these 3D Dome Spellbinder by Becca Freeken diorama cards for quite a while and it was great to do this for a friend's wife. He asked me to make a card for his wife and I jumped at the chance to make this card for him to give her. Because it is a milestone birthday, I made a card for her using the 3-point fold card. I have seen them on Pinterest for a while and thought it was a good time to make it.
I loved making the above card so I made another one for my sister, Connie. I gave it to her today so I can post it now. It is a fun fold to do and a little different. I have made the arrow fold card but this is a little different. The paper collection is from Graphic 45 Bloom. It is a gorgeous collection. Happy Birthday Connie!

Soccer Birthday!

My husband is an assistant coach at the high school in town and the coach has a 70th birthday coming up so I made him a soccer birthday card. It is a pop up layered card showing the ball hitting the soccer net! Mark and David went to high school together, although, David is a couple of years older so they have known each other for years. This one is for his wife to give to him and the card below is the one, I made, from us. It is a swing card that I have a sizzix die. David is also a basketball coach so it is a combination soccer/basketball card.
Happy 70th Birthday David!

Fun Fold Birthday Card

This is a hexagon pinwheel/tower card that I made for a good friend's birthday! He loves the water as he and his wife used to have a boat. Love decorating the different panels of this card. The border punch is ocean waves. I have also made the quadruple pinwheel/tower card which is another variation of this style card. Below are a few more pictures of this card's panels.
I have been working on a small chair that I got at Goodwill for $6.00 that said "Time Out Chair". I needed something for my tall indoor plant. First, I painted and waxed it and then stamped the cute bees and added some floral transfers. I love how it came out. Below are before and after pictures of the chair.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my card and project!

November Fun!

I was asked to make a card for a friend who has a friend who has a milestone birthday in November! The big 70! I have done a card in a box before with the same theme but this was it was all about being 70! He is a grandfather who likes to play games with his grandchildren. I love it when I had a themed birthday card!
My sisters and I are gearing up for a craft fair this Saturday in Portland, Maine at the Italian Heritage Center. This is one of the items that we will have for sale. These "race track" luminaries are fun to make. It definitely is a time consuming process but I loved how my nautical one came out. There are tutorials for these luminaries on Pinterest. We have about 3 or 4 of them to sell. It is tempting to keep this one, though! Here are a few more pictures below from different angles.
We set up a couple of weeks ago in my garage for the craft fair to see how it will look. Below are a few pictures of what you will find at our tables there. Happy November everyone!

Babies and Birthdays

My daughter asked me to make a baby girl card for a co-worker who just had a baby girl. This baby dress is a template that I have used before from Pinterest and I love using lace for it. The paper collection is Echo Park and so are the stickers from the collection. The baby's name is Eloise which you just don't hear anymore. Loved making this card!
Hello Eloise Jean!
Here is another Grace's Garden Stampin up Birthday card. I have made a few because I love this stamp set and I know so many people who love their gardens. This one is a tent card. Here are a few more pictures of it from the side and back.
Thanks for stopping by!

Handy Man Birthday

I have made these bench cards before for a Father's Day card but this one is a birthday card for my son! Today is his birthday and he and his fiance bought a house last year and they are doing a lot of renovations. His birthday gift is a Home Depot gift card! These bench cards are fun to design and I love how it comes together. I used a lot of my tool dies and the Sizzix embossing folder for the front of the bench table. It is hard to believe my oldest is 38 years old today! Happy Birthday Eric!

Fall Birthday Cards

Making cards for friends with a theme is more fun than just using the balloons and birthday cake ideas. Our good friend was a football coach and also played football in high school. His birthday is tomorrow so it is already in the mail. I used the sponging technique for the background, Elizabeth craft's football die, and the grass (which I use all the time) is from Die-namics.
Inside sentiment, love it!
This gatefold/crossover card is for my Aunt Carol who turns 80 tomorrow. Love the sentiment "80 looks good on you". She is my Mom's youngest sister. We are hoping to take her to lunch soon especially before the snow flies.
This type of card is a different way to close the card and I'm always looking for a different style card to make. Happy Birthday Aunt Carol!
One last card is for our friends who son just had a baby boy! So this is kind of like a birthday card too but more Welcome little one! His name is Jones Maloy Hallisey! Such an adorable little guy.
I used a template that I found on Pinterest to make this card. The embellishments are stickers from Echo Park's Baby Boy collection. Thanks for checking out my cards. As you can see it has been a busy fall as well as summer!
