Another August Milestone!

This card is for a friend who also just turned 70! It has been quite a year with a lot of friends from elementary and high school turning 70. This card is a triple fold card. The paper is from Graphic 45 and I think it is called "Bloom".

This card is a crate with beer and I used a Stampin up stamp set for the front of the card.  Below is a side view of the card and it folds up great for mailing. So who doesn't love beer for his birthday! LOL!

My last project is actually a pin that I made for a friend who is going through chemotherapy and she had a wonderful nurse for her first infusion. So she and I decided to make this pin for her to wear.

My Milestone Birthday!

My Birthday is starting out great! Flowers, wine and Amaretto, these are my favorite things and we are having lobsters and clams for our dinner tonight! I am very lucky to have so many people that know what I love! My family is the best! Plus my siblings gave me a wonderful 70th birthday party in June so that I would be surprise! And it worked!!  Now, I am on to other decade!

My husband and daughter surprised me with the items in the picture above and I got a call from my son who lives in Seattle today.  They also told me that they are planning a trip to England next spring because it is my heritage. Hopefully we will make it to Scotland and Ireland too! Can't wait!

August Is Here!

I have made this style card before for a birthday and it was fun to make it again for my brother's birthday! I didn't have the dies to make it so I used punches for the records and buttons, etc.  It is great for a masculine card.

This style card. has plenty of room on the back for the sentiment. Always looking for this when I make a card.

I thought the sentiment for this birthday card was perfect for a golfer! I found it on Pinterest and had to. make this one for a friend.

This is the second angel that I have made from the book folding technique. I did sell the first one I made at our craft fair last Christmas.  I wanted to make another one and I love how this one came out. She is a cutie! This one is a little different from the other one I made because this angel sings!! Thanks for stopping by! Happy August!
