Crafting

I love having a theme to make a birthday card for someone. This one is for my husband. He can't start a day without his coffee! Love this set from Stampin up "Coffee Cafe". It has been used a lot! The bridge style card is an easy one to make and worked perfectly! Happy Birthday to my best friend who happens to be my husband, lucky me!
The coffee bean stamp is so cute! My husband pointed out that it looks like lips! I think so too!
I have been doing some crafts with my pom pom maker. Love all the ideas on Pinterest especially the bunny bottoms! They are so adorable! It was easy to make two cute chicks with Easter eggs for Easter and little gnomes with their hats for anything. Lastly I made a vignette with a pom pom bunny in a garden that says "Hello Spring"! Can't wait for spring! I also made the carrots for the little bunny. It won't be long before spring is here!

January Birthdays

Love making tent cards! This one is for a student of my husband's who shares the same birth date as him. January 20th is a popular birthdate for many people we know! Tia always remembers Mark's birthday and she is married now and has children of her own. She is a special lady! These polar bears represents winter and they are so cute, had to use them for her birthday card. Happy Birthday Tia!
This past summer I have been making these tower cards. It gives you panels to decorate. This card is a for friend from high school who has a birthday next week. Graphic 45 Fairie Dust is a favorite paper collection and it is so pretty. Love the purple! Below are more pictures of the card. Happy Birthday Betti!

Welcome to 2022!

Since it is a New Year, my sisters and I went to our booth yesterday changed out Christmas items for Valentine items! This is the first thing I made for Valentine's Day. A Valentine heart made with corks! You can hang it on your front door or on your wall. If it doesn't sell, I may hang in on my wall. My daughter gives me a lot of corks from the restaurant that she works. I painted the tops of the corks pink and red with the ribbon wrapped around the entire heart. It took a few days to make because I glued the heart a little at a time to make sure they stayed in place. I used both Gorilla glue and hot glue. Loved how it came out! For our booth, I also made a couple of Valentine baskets and also with corks a cell phone holder which is pictured below.
It has a nautical theme because where we have our booth is near the ocean and nautical things sell very well. I actually kept one of the cell phone holders that I made for myself. It works great in my craftroom to watch videos.
Above is the Valentine Explosion Box that I made which was fun to do! Explosion Boxes are always fun to do! Here are some pictures of the inside of the explosion box.
I want to make another one for a friend who I know will love this. You can add pictures to this box too! Valentine's Day will be here before you know it! Thanks for stopping by!
