New Baby!

I haven't made a new baby card in a while. My sister's daughter in law had a baby last week  and I thought what a good time to make one.  Katie had a baby boy, Jackson. So happy for Katie and Cory! I decided to do the trifold accordion fold card with the paper collection from Echo Park. 

Last. year I made repurposed a small shelf because it wasn't in good condition.  It had some cracks and it needed help. I also think it was made of mahogany which made me really think about this.  But I decided to turn it upside down and glue a small candlestick for the base. Then I painted and antiqued it and I loved how it came out.  Oh and I added some Willow Angels. Lastly,  I am thinking about adding a bow at the top??? Not sure but I just feel it needs something at the top.  Hmmm.....

 

Happy New Year - 2026!

 We always celebrate with friends on New Year's Eve and as usual we had a wonderful time. While we waited for the ball to drop in Time Square we played some fun card games. It definitely was a night to remember! "I believe in fairies" is a phrase my husband will remember forever! LOL! We were missing our good friend, Carlene, but she will be back next year!  Here are few fun photos of the night!
