Happy New Year - 2026!

 We always celebrate with friends on New Year's Eve and as usual we had a wonderful time. While we waited for the ball to drop in Time Square we played some fun card games. It definitely was a night to remember! "I believe in fairies" is a phrase my husband will remember forever! LOL! We were missing our good friend, Carlene, but she will be back next year!  Here are few fun photos of the night!

Here are our headbands from previous years that we have to choose to wear for 2025's celebration. I made favors for the table and the theme is "Let's ring in the new year together"!

Here is the picture of the table for New Year's Eve celebration. I wanted to point out that I used the same centerpiece that I used for Christmas but just changed out the little Christmas tree for a gold candle. It looked great with the gold tablecloth and the runner!

Of course, we had to have our pictures taken like we do every year with the "New Year's Frame" which everyone loves to do! LOL!

Happy 2018!

So here we are again with the group picture for the 17 or 18 time, celebrating together!  These guys make New Year's Eve so much fun!  We always have to have the party favors, hats and, of course, the glasses!!!  This year was all about the frames with embellishments to hold.  Anna always finds the cutest things for the party!  I know I am a little late posting these pictures but Happy New Year Everyone!

Since our Wedding Anniversary is on December 27th, I have to show the cards that my sisters made for us.  They are very lovely and I hate to put them away.  I love the colors and the beautiful dies that Chris and Connie used which were from Heartfelt Creations--so beautiful!  Thanks again Chris & Tom and Connie & Russ!!

37 years!

Christmas Gnomes!

Before next year gets here, I wanted to show some of our projects from our Craft days that we had in December.  I love  making these cute gnomes from this video on youtube.  My sisters and I added some arms but still no sewing just gluing!!  Everything is from the Dollar Tree except the rice and beard fabric. I added some snowflakes to their hats later.  Making the nose was the most fun!!  Bigger the better for sure! 

These snowflakes are made from toilet and towel paper holders.  I dipped them in glue and then glitter.  The upper right snowflake I painted blue and then dipped in glue and glitter.  I have been saving my rolls for just this and I want to make more in the 2018!  There are lots of ideas for these on Pinterest but it is fun to do your own design! 

We didn't make it to my sister's house this year because of the blizzard here in the Northeast on Christmas Day.  We stayed home and had our Christmas with my daughter and son.  My son drove from California with his new puppy, Oscar.  It was so nice to have them all here under one roof. Oscar was so much fun!  He didn't like the cold because we noticed when we took him out that he kept lifting his paws.  He is a West Coast native for sure.

My husband and I are getting ready for a New Year's Eve dinner/party for friends that we have been celebrating with for 15 plus years.  It is our turn for the dinner so here is a picture of the table. I made napkin poinsettas for our guests with a snowflake in the middle.  Our menu is lobster stew, seafood casserole, sweet potato casserole and spanakopita (Greek spinach pie), dessert and appetizer to be brought by friends.  I know what my resolution will be tomorrow as it is every year   -  Diet!!!
