Fairy Dolls

Craft day with my sisters a couple of weeks ago and my sister-in-law, Charlotte, we made these cute fairy dolls! This has become my new passion! They are so adorable!  These dolls are made with floral wire and silk flowers!  The tutorial for this fairy doll is below and a few more pictures of fairy dolls that I have made since our craft day! Emilie does a great job showing how to make a simple fairy doll. Enjoy!

Fun Fold Cards

This style card is called a Tricorn Style fold card. I first saw this by Mixedupcrafts.  I love the way it stands and it folds up to be mailed.  I used Stampin up designer series paper for this card that is shown in the picture.  Here is here tutorial for this card:

This style card, that is pictured on the right, is called a Star Shaped Easel card.  It comes apart for mail but again I love the way this stands too! The paper that I used is also from Stampin up designer series. Here is the tutorial for this card:

These 2 types of cards are fun to make and I love trying new types of style cards.  I find it amazing all the different types of cards that they are out there!  Try these you will love them too!

Birthday with Animals!

Jungle Birthday
Our next door neighbor  has a birthday today!! She is 8 years old today and loves crafting.  I made this diorama card for her with Elizabeth Craft Jeep, which I just got and I love it!!  The Panda, Elephant and Giraffe are from Marianne Designs.  I just got the kangaroo today or I would have added it to the card.

Back of the card for the sentiment
The frog on the front and the back are stickers that I have had in my stash.  I think I got them at Michael's, so adorable.  It does lay flat for mailing which is pictured above but I am glad I didn't  have to mail it because it does take a huge envelope because I made it huge.   The size of the card is  5 1/2 x 6.  I have made them smaller which I would do if I was going to mail it.  Dioramas are so much fun to make and decorate.  Hope she likes it!  Happy Birthday Caroline!!

Successful Spring Fair!

This past weekend was our first Craft Fair and my sisters and I had a ball doing it!  We me the nicest people!! The comments we received from customers were fantastic!!  We also had the nicest neighbors too!  One lady was selling handmade dog collars which were unique and so cute and the other lady makes customized bracelets, just beautiful!!  It was so much fun!!  Thank you to all that came out to our first fair!  We sold cards for Mother and Father's day!  In fact, one lady said it is the first time she bought a Father's Day card this early!!  Hilarious!!  Closer look at things we sold at the Spring Fair!!

Sister's Birthday!

Graphic 45 Couture

Accordion Card

Happy Birthday Sis!
Love this Accordion type card because it has a lot of space for decorating and sentiments for a birthday card!  The paper collection called Couture from Graphic 45 is perfect for a sister's birthday!!  I made a belly band for the closure rather than a ribbon for this card.  Such a fun card to make!

This Centerfold card is for my brother-in-law's birthday. He is an avid golfer and this was a fun card to make for him especially since it is time for golfers to get outside on the greens.

Found this sentiment on Pinterest and it worked perfect with this card. Happy Birthday Lenny!!

Spring Birthdays

Birthday Card in a Box

Back of the card
My friend's birthday was last month but since we were away, we celebrated it this past weekend.  She loved her card in the box!  I used SU Designer paper and stamp set called "Jar of Love"!  Nothing like getting a box full of flowers!!  Happy Birthday Lynne!

Birthday Castle!

A little party inside the Castle

Back of the card
Love making these Z fold cards!  Perfect for another friend whose birthday was last week.  She always calls herself the "Queen" and why not so this was a perfect card for her!  I used multiple stamps from Stampin up balloons, Julia Nutting doll, Elizabeth Craft castle,  MFT dragon and Sizzix's clouds.  Happy Birthday Anna!

Both of these types of cards were so much fun to make, Z fold and card in the box!  I have been making them for quite a while now and still amazes me that they fold up and can be mailed! Thanks for stopping by!

Disney Birthday!

I have the most fun making these explosion boxes for friends!  This one was the most fun because it is for a very good friend who loves Disney and Donald Duck! We finally celebrated her birthday last week (her birthday was in February) because we all have been traveling and was able to get together for lunch.  The paper is from Simple Stories and is just perfect for a Disney album or card!  I made a shaker star for the top of the box---the pictures below show the sides and, most importantly, inside!!

Donald Duck surprises Cindy on the inside of her explosion box!  How cool!!  I made a little platform for Donald to stand on.  Just love this!!

Happy Birthday Cindy!!
We had fun celebrating with Cindy! She is so easy to buy and make things because she loves Disney and Pink!! So guess which one is Cindy!! Love you Cindy!
