Lavendar Birthday

Birthday cards are a lot of fun to make.  I have a few birthday cards to make for September and this is just the first one. I have been dying to use my new Fancy Tags #2 from spellbinders and thought this would be a perfect opportunity. The doily started out as white but I used Tim Holtz dusty concord distress ink to color it and added the Fancy Tag on top with the flowers from prima and SU bird punch leaves.  The ribbon is from Joann's Fabric.  MS corner punch is one of my favorites. I just love this punch!! Come back for more birthday cards!

Another Just For You

This is just a quick little birthday card that I made for my daughter's roommate, Rachel.   Her birthday is July 1st and she loves pastels especially pink!  What girl doesn't like pink?!!!  The flowers are prima flowers and the leaves are Marianne creatables.  Tilda is colored with copic markers. The paper is a DP from one of the big box stores, probably Michael's.  I love this Tilda stamp and have used it many times. It  looks like she is just handing the little tulip to you.  Love Tilda!!!

Pop up Adoption Day

Happy A Day!
Front of the card
Here is my second Adoption card that I made for one of the teacher's at Waterboro Elementary School.  It is for a little boy named Alan.  Alan is blind so I tried to make a card that would have some texture to it. I used Martha Stewart balloon punch with gold paper.  It has a smooth texture so Alan can feel the balloons. The cake is a sizzix die and I used real small candles.  They are attached with glue dots. The blue flower is from Prima. Prima flowers are just so beautiful and punch bunch punch for the leaves. On the front of the card I used the owl punch from SU with a little party hat, cuttlebug EF swiss dots, nesties, and MS border punch. This was fun card to make!  Thanks for looking!
