Fun Style Cards
Sun & Sea themed card for a friend's birthday! Love this stamp set from Stampin up and love making these split style cards with acetate for a see-thru message. Such an easy card to make and perfect for the summer here in Maine, should have added a lobster!
This style card is called a pop out/accordion card. I used Graphic 45's Fairie Wings collection. Another birthday card for the end of July birthday!
Lastly, this is a double Z fold card which is one of my favorite cards to make. It gives you plenty of room to decorate and for the sentiment. This paper collection is an echo park collection which the name escapes me for the moment but there are so many beautiful beach/sea paper collections out there. Happy Birthdays to Mary, Joni & Vicki!!

Summer Birthdays!
This time of year I can't help but make birthday cards with flowers! My daylilies are in bloom and I just love all the color in our yard! This card is for my sister, Adrianne who has a birthday on the 23rd and had to use Graphic 45's BLOOM collection which is so beautiful! It is 3 panel accordion card which is another fun fold to make for a birthday card. Happy Birthday Adrianne!
This Z fold birthday card is for a grandson of great friends of ours. Caden lives in Florida and has become quite a football player. He is a quarterback for his team and his parents are pretty proud of him. He has a birthday next week and I hope this card gets to him in time. Keep up the good work Caden and Happy Birthday!
Just a couple pictures of some summertime fun!

Hello July!
This wedding card is for my daughter who is attending a wedding on July 4th! What a great day for a wedding celebration complete with fireworks! This is Becca Feeken's diorama, Happily Ever After dies. It makes such beautiful cards!
I made a pocket with the sentiment on the outside so you can put a gift card, cash or check for the bride and groom. These style cards can be folded and put into a 6x6 envelope but because of the embellishments I added, I decided make a small box and put the card in it.
The box measures 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 and fits perfectly!
I have been busy repurposing some items that I have had for a while. Painting the items and then putting some transfers on them and I love the way them came out. I put some of these items and facebook and was able to sell the picnic basket! Love that people love them!

June Celebrations!
I made this 3-point card for my sister's 8th Anniversary. I can't believe it has been 8 years since that happy, happy day! I love this style card because there is no cardstock waste. Graphic 45 Bloom was used for decorating this card. It is a great paper collection for spring! Happy Anniversary to Adrianne & Lenny!
This card below is an origami shirt style card which is great for masculine birthdays. I made this for my brother-in-law who has a birthday on the 20th. I had to get it in the mail because my sister and her husband live in Georgia. Happy Birthday and have a wonderful day Cary!

30 Year Anniversary!
Today marks 30 years my husband and I have lived in Falmouth. We moved from Raymond to Falmouth so that our children would have a good school which included a high school. My husband, actually, graduated from Falmouth High School and now our children have too! We have seen neighbors come and go in 30 years and the card I made below is for a neighbor, Caroline, who is a ski racer. Usually I make cards that something to do with the season but since she is such a great skier, I know she will love this. I used my Cricut for the image on the front of the card, racing down the mountain. Happy Birthday Caroline!
My Mother's day flowers!
Yesterday was Mother's Day which was a beautiful day so we went to the Eastern Prom in Portland and had lobster and crabmeat rolls from a local shop in Falmouth. We brought Ollie with us. Here are some pictures of us enjoying the afternoon! Hope every mother had a wonderful day yesterday!

Spring has Sprung!
No one is more happier than Ollie that Spring has arrived. Even though he loves winter, he knows he gets to go outside more often when spring is here. He is definitely an energetic, animated and most important outside dog! He loves his walks for sure! He was sad to see his last patch of snow to be gone!
April Birthdays always keep me busy! Here are a few cards that I have made and have mailed to family members. The first one is for my brother in law who loves to play hockey. I used my cricut for the hockey sticks and puck.
Using Graphic 45's Ocean Blue paper collection, I made a pop out cube card for my sister's birthday card. This is the first one that I have made and it was one that I will make more. There is plenty of space for sentiments. Just a beautiful, beautiful card! Happy Birthday Phillis!
I made another birthday card using Stampin up's Set Sail stamp set with the dies for my hairdresser's birthday this week. These cards are always a staple to make for any occasion.
Here in the Northeast, especially Maine, it has been a spectacular day. Temperatures today reached 75 degrees which is great for this time of year. My husband and I walked a trail today called Mackworth Island and is was beautiful! Spring has definitely arrived!

By The Sea Birthday
Today is a high school friend's birthday and she loves the ocean! She is a retired teacher and her vacations are always spend at the ocean. Her birthday card this year is this triple panel pop up card from Mixed up Crafts. I used Graphic 45's By the Sea collection which is always fun to use. I have actually made 3 of these for friend's and family. This card measures 5x7 which is a great size for a card and gives you a lot of space to put your sentiment and, of course, decorate! If you want to make this card just go to youtube and search for Mised up Craft, triple panel pop up card.
In my previous post, I mentioned that Sisters Designs is getting ready for another craft fair at the end of April. Pictured below are some projects that I have been working on for the fair.
These rolling pins I bought at Goodwill and decorated them with IOD transfers and the words are done with my Cricut. I love how they came out and I think I am going to sell them but sometimes it is hard to part with my creations! Love them!
Now these bookends were given to me and they were all black. I don't have a before picture (which I wish I did!) but here is the after pictures when I painted them with Waverly mineral chalk paint. It is done with the baking soda technique to give it a more dimensional effect. I added some embellishments such as metal giraffes, cardstock from Graphic 45 and then I did seal it. Love how these came out too. These will be at the craft fair.
Because tomorrow is April 1st I better get busy for the fair. I still have a few more things to do!
