Book Folding for Christmas

I have started making items for our craft fair in the fall. The books I use for the book folding technique are books that have been used and used.  Loving how this Christmas tree and Christmas gnome came out. The Christmas tree I have made before but this time I put fairy lights on it. The picture below does not do it justice but it does look pretty cool.  Of course, the Santa hat makes the Christmas gnome. Hoping that these 2 items are hits at the craft fair. Enjoy!

Christmas Tags

This is just a quick last 2025 post but I wanted to show these  Christmas tags.  I made these Christmas tags from Filson tags which are very thick and I couldn't throw them away. I used Graphic 45's Merry & Bright paper collection scraps.  Love them!

2025 Christmas Card

I used Spellbinder's nesting dies for the first style of my Christmas cards this year. This style is easy to fold up and mail. Graphic 45's Merry & Bright paper collection makes this card. It is such a beautiful collection. The back of the card gives you plenty of room for a Christmas sentiment. Because I get tired of making the same card 55 times,  I have a second style that I made to mail to friends and family. Yes, I do send out 55 cards. I started at the end of October making them. Here is my second style below.

This easel style card was my second style Christmas card. The bells are from a Stampin up set which, I think, is called Bells ringin. There are 3 areas that you can use for the sentiment. This is where I put mine.
We just got back from Seattle Washington where my son and his wife relocated this past year. It was a lot of fun and had no problems with flights which sometimes is troublesome this time of year. My next post I will show some photos of the fun we had! Merry Christmas everyone!!

Birthday Card For December

Lately I have been making these triple panel pop out cards. These 2 are for my twin sisters birthday which was December 2nd. Graphic 45's paper collections were used to finish them. On the back is plenty of room for a birthday sentiment. Happy Birthday Chris & Connie!

Back of the card

Also in December is my brother in law's birthday, Russ.  I made a shirt card for his birthday on the 18th. This card also has plenty of room for the sentiment. Happy Birthday Russ!

Lastly, I wanted to show my Hanukkak card for my daughter  in law's parents. They love getting cards from us. Happy  Hanukkah! Thank you for stopping by. My next post will be my Christmas cards for this year.

November Fun!

I made this pumpkin centerpiece for our craft fair that we had at the beginning of the month.  In October I made one for myself and have it on my dining room table. The pumpkins are from HomeGoods and Michael's. The base are candlesticks that I found at our local Goodwill.

Perfect Thanksgiving Centerpiece

Here are a couple other items that we are featuring at our next craft fair. I need to give credit to my sisters who made these cute craft projects. Love these items. Now it is time to work on my Christmas cards! Thanks for stopping by.

12th of October

Our son's birthday was this past week and I made this musical birthday card for him. He is teaching himself how to play the guitar so I thought this was so appropriate for him. He and his wife have moved to Seattle so I'm sure he hasn't had much time to do it lately but I thought he would get a kick out of this card. Happy Birthday to our favorite son!

I have been busy in my craft room making a few things. Here are some pictures of what I have been working on. The first picture below is a Christmas tree all lit up! So pretty! The second photo is a vase with tulips and a Happy Birthday sign. I wanted to make a birthday gift. Hopefully this will be at our craft fair in November.

Are you ready for Christmas?

I am ready! Just a couple stocking stuffers to go but for the most part I am ready! Love to use my Christmas cards from last year for tags on the packages. It really makes the packages so pretty!
Here is a closer look at the presents under the tree. Ollie is not impressed at all.
Lastly, yesterday was my brother-in-law's birthday and here is his birthday card. He is quite a good carpenter so I thought this was so appropriate for him. Although, he did say yesterday, he doesn't like to paint. LOL! I love the inside of the card with his picture at our yard sale from this past summer.

Christmas Cards Done!

Here are my Christmas Cards for this year! I used the Stampin up "Santa's Sleigh" and the paper is from Graphic 45 and Echo Park. All the paper collections that I used are just so pretty. How can you go wrong with red and green? Here are a couple close up pictures of my Christmas card.
Love the glitter paper for the sleigh with rose, gold and silver paper. Just a Christmas vignette that I made this past week which was inspired by a project I saw on Pinterest. I had all the items I already had so it was good to use up some of the stuff from my stash to create this. The letters were created with my Cricut using red vinyl. To make it more festive, I think I might add some snow but I haven't decided yet.

Easter Bunny Centerpiece

I thought I needed an Easter centerpiece for the table this year. I made this cute little fabric bunny. The pattern I used was on Pinterest and was so easy to do. The eggs are wooden which are painted and then decorated with lace and flowers. I had a cute little bunny and just added it to the centerpiece. I'm really happy the way it came out! For some reason I am still working on some Christmas items. They happen to be Christmas trees. The first one was a challenge from a friend to see if I could copy it. This first picture is the picture she sent me...
This is the one that I did. I used IOD moulds that I have and it came out pretty good. My Christmas tree Wall art!
This second Christmas tree are 2 inch wooden blocks. They are painted and glued together. Added some decoration and words from my Cricut machine. This was an easy and fun project to do!

Merry Christmas!

Here we are! Christmas weekend and everything is done except the cooking and some baking. We had our family Christmas celebration last weekend which was so fun! It will be a quiet Christmas Day this year with just my husband and daughter but it will be lovely and the weather will be terrific! Especially after this past week's storm, I feel terrible that so many towns mostly north of us have had devastating loss from the wind, rain and flooding. I did make a card for my hairdresser who always gets a kick out of my cards! He is the best! It is a gatefold with some closures.
One more card was for my brother-in-law's birthday. I love it when I can incorporate a photo in a card. This picture is from this summer at our 4th of July party in our pool. I had to use it for his birthday! It is hard to see in the picture but it is a pop up style card.
Also I wanted to share a photo of my daughter's pup, Ollie. He is not impressed with our Christmas tree...
Lastly, the reason for the season! Love my nativity set!

Christmas Cards 2023

My Christmas cards for this year have all been sent! There are a nativity scene this year. The style is a cascade, accordion card. I used gold, copper and silver foil for the nativity dies. The sentiment is from Stampin up and a lot of the paper is from Graphic 45. When my cards are sent out, it always feels like Christmas! Still have some shopping to do but mostly stocking stuffers. I made a Hanukkah card for my daughter in law's parents. It was made with my cricut from cricut access. The menorrah came out perfect. Love how it came out. Happy Hannukkah!
