Happy Leap Day 2024
I am taking advantage of an extra day in the year to get ready for our annual St Patrick's Day celebration. I have started with this tiered decoration for the centerpiece on our table. I made the "eat drink and be irish" sign and the little pocketbook. Happy how it all came together. I still have the favors to make and a banner for the festivities not to mention a boiled dinner! Glad that I have done a jump-start on the dinner party.
The other night I was up a little early and got a picture of the full moon. It lighted up our backyard! Happy Leap Day!

March is coming!
I have been having so much fun making these Triple Floating Cards! The tutorial that I have been watching is from "Iced Images" and she does a great job explaining. The above card is made for a dear friend who has a birthday March 1st and will be in the mail tomorrow. The paper collection is from Graphic 45's Bloom, so beautiful! Happy Birthday Eileen!
This upright Z fold card is a milestone birthday card for my brother in law! Had to have the 60 pop on the card and I think it does in red!
Again I used Graphic 45's Couture collection but I used more masculine colors.
Stampin up's stamp set was perfect for my friend's birthday card. I think this style card is a swing card. I definitely will be making more of these style cards.Happy Birthday Lynne!
Lastly, I have been working on some oars and finally I finished them last week. I had to add anchors on both oars. I love this little corner in our family room with the framed lighthouse picture on the right (hard to see) and then on the left the compass. Thanks for stopping by!

More February Cards
Here is another book style card that I made for my niece and her fiance's new home! I used Graphic 45's Artisan Style paper collection.
Here are pictures of the inside of the card.
One of the pages has a little pocket for a gift card but in our case we gave them some cash so they can do with it what they need the most. Setting up a home for the first time, you just need everything!
And I did it again for a birthday card only with a gift card for a dear friend who was leaving for Disney in Florida. But this time I made the card vertical instead of horizontal. Graphic 45's Love Notes paper collection is so beautiful, I had to use it.
This is a birthday card for a 8 year old who can really appreciate flowers and bugs! By bugs I mean butterflies! I had to add some bling because, of course, she is a girly girl who loves bling! Happy Birthday Emily!

Valentine Centerpiece & Birthdays
We had some friends over for dinner and I wanted to make a centerpiece for the table. I used a container that I had from a gift and painted it red and white. It needed a couple of coats of paint for both the red and white colors. The felt hearts around the rim of the container I made myself with felt and a heart steel die from sizzix. The heart shapes were from the dollar store and I decoupaged them with music sheets I had. Then I just decorated them and put them on a stick. Loved the way it came out. Here is a closer look...
My Valentine card to my husband is a book style card from Mixed up crafts. It was pretty easy just cut, score and then glue!
Graphic 45 Love notes is the paper collection that I used for this card. Happy Valentine's Day.
One last birthday card I made for a friend's birthday that was just before Valentine's Day and as you can see he is a golfer!
This is an upright Z fold or double easel card. I used a stamp set from Stampin up for the golfer, ball and clubs. Then I used some dies and punches for the different shapes. Happy Birthday Tom!
