Poinsetta Christmas
I know it is only May but I promised myself I would start Christmas cards early this year! If I can make 1-2 a week for the rest of the year, I will be all set for December 25th. This poinsetta was made with Build a Blossoms punch from SU. There are 16 petals and I stamped them with real red ink before punching. The paper is from Stamped Designs (specialty store in Dover, NH) with tiny little poinsettas on it. The paper is perfect for this card. The huge pearl in the center of the poinsetta is from Eyelet Outlet. This card was so easy that I think I will make more to send out for Christmas. It gives you the feeling that you are getting a real poinsetta!!!

Easter Husband Card!
I just didn't feel like I had made enough bunnies for Easter and when I came across this saying on Splitcoast, I thought this would be a cute card for my husband. I made a white bunny with Pretty in Pink sponging on the side of the bunny. The funky fold card is a definite favorite type of card for me. I combined a little of spring with the paper and the butterflies on the side with a cute Easter bunny. I made another bunny card that I am going to send to my son in California from both my husband and I. He will get a kick out of it! The bunny for Eric is pink with some of Valita's tulips. Thanks again Valita, I love your tulips!!!
Used some sizzix die grass and cuttlebug EF for this card. MS butterfly punch on the flowers on the side! Thanks for looking!

Spring Pop Up!
This card started out trying to do something with the paper that I purchased a while ago at Stamped Design in Dover, NH. I usually like to use blues, pinks and purples but this time decided green is very much a spring color. ! I used the Fifth Avenue SU set for the outside. Copic marker- Chrome Orange, was used for the flower. MS border punch and nesties for the frame of the flower. Sizzix "little leaves" was used for the foliage. The picture shows the flower a little dull but Chrome Orange Copic Marker is actually very brillant as well as the paper!
Then you open up the card and it is a pop up card with flowers and butterflies. The style of the card is called an M fold design. I colored the SU Stipple Butterfly with copic markers, Chrome Orange and Canary Yellow. MS butterfly and fence border punches were used and the Sizzix EF from SU (the name escapes me but it coordinates with Fifth Avenue Floral). The flowers are held on with acetate cut in 1/4 stripes.
