Happy Thanksgiving!!

I saw this house on my way to my sister's and my mom's house in Yarmouth.  How cute for Thanksgiving! Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! I am happy because my whole family is together this Thanksgiving.  First time in a long time, my sister and her husband from Florida, my brother from New Jersey and my other sisters that don't live as far away here in Maine and Massachusetts.   My hope is for everyone to have a safe and happy holiday today!

Singing Christmas Mice

Love these punch art singing mice!  Had to make another card in the box with them. The card makes up so quickly especially when you made a few like I have.  The Christmas tree is in the background which is from Sizzix. The mice are all punches from SU. The ornaments on the side are also from SU both dies and stamp set.  The paper is from Carta Bella. Check out a closer look below.  Thanks for looking!

Christmas Cardinals in a box!

Fun to make!
Here is another Card in a Box that I made for the Christmas Fair.  The cardinals are from Spellbinders.  My mother loves cardinals so if this doesn't sell she is getting this card for Christmas.  In my previous post, I gave the link to Monica Gale's tutorial in making these cards in a box.  She did a great job explaining, although, she gave it in centimeters-but the measurements are also in my previous post.  The paper is from graphic 45 again, just love their paper.  I used MS punch for the holly and ivy and also for the fern punch.  Memory box die is the beautiful wreath and pretty tiny red pearls for the holly  on the ivy and wreath.  Thanks for stopping by.  My next project is a mini album.

Poinsetta in a Box

For the Christmas Craft Fair
Card in a box is my new passion.  My sister, Chris from Callalilystudioblog.blogspot.com showed me the tutorial from Monica Gale  It looks harder than it is.  I used the poinsettas from Spellbinders.  The paper is pretty red glitter paper from Michael's. The measurements on Monica's blog are in centimeters but Chris calculated them in inches which goes like this.  Cut 5 7/8inch x 12 inch cardstock and score on the 12 inch at 2 3/4, 5 1/2, 8 1/4, 11 inches then turn paper to the short side and score at 2 3/4 inch.  That is the basic box and then you can watch Monica's tutorial from there.  The paper I used to decorate the box is from graphic 45--very pretty!! Love that it closes and can be mailed so easily.  Can't wait to make another one!

Can you see the glitter?

Christmas Fair

My sisters and I are doing a craft fair in Topsham at the Cornerstone Baptist Church (Rte 196) on November 16th from 9-1pm.  We all have been working hard to get done everything that we have planned to do. I made these triangle boxes 2 years ago when we did the fair and they were a good seller.  They can hold candy or small gifts and with the bow at the top you can tie them to your tree.  Just love them!!!  You can choose from Santa, reindeer, Christmas tree and a penquin.  I have also made gift cards which you can check out below.

One size fits all!

Decorated inside and out!
I am in the process of making more Santa's pants and Mrs. Claus' apron.  They are so cute, of course, I first saw them on pinterest and had so much fun making them!  Just adorable!  Great for each place setting at the Christmas table or just for a cute decoration at a Christmas party centerpiece!!

Cute, cute, cute!
Back to work only a couple more weeks!  Thanks for stopping by and please join as at the Christmas Fair if you get a chance! Love to see you!  Had to end with my Japanese Red Maple out in front of my house.  It is so beautiful this time of year every year!!!
